Aviva Drescher really knows how to make a scene in the finale of last season's "Real Housewives of New York City." However, fans may have already seen the last of her on the show since she's been dismissed by Bravo after being part of it for just two seasons.

A source, who has knowledge on the reality series, confirmed to Us Weekly on Friday that the amputee mom was indeed fired from RHONY.

The dismissal of the 45-year-old mother of four comes after the leg-throwing gesture she pulled off in the finale of the show's sixth run, which aired in July.

During the finale episode, Drescher and her castmates had a confrontation at Manhattan restaurant Le Cirque when the amputee author asked if she could skip the cast trips to Montana, Saratoga Springs, NY and many more because she was sick. But her fellow "Real Housewives" didn't buy her excuse and even accused her of lying and faking her illness.

"The only thing fake about me," Drescher said amid the commotion as she yanked off her prosthetic leg and slammed it on the table saying, "is this!" Drescher then took the reality drama to a different level when she threw her leg across the room in front of partygoers, who were stunned by her gesture.

"I think me getting angry and throwing my leg on the table was really funny and crazy. I get a hoot out of it. But of course, I was definitely brought to the end of my rope, or the end of my leg so to speak," she said in an interview a day after the season finale aired.

While she is yet to comment on the issue, Drescher seems to be pretty swamped with a lot of things lately, according to The Wire.

On Twitter, she posted a snap of her checking out the Derma Wand product. She captioned the photo, "After all the post sun skincare talk & recommendations excited to try @DermaWand1."

Meanwhile, it appears that Drescher isn't the only one affected with the changes on the Bravo series. Her co-star Ramona Singer, 57, has been demoted to a recurring role, similar to what happened to LuAnn De Lesseps, noted New York Daily News.

"Bravo is casting the show around (cast members) Heather Thomson and Kristen Taekman and Carole Radziwill," an insider gushed, adding, "(When) Ramona carried the show, that is why ratings plummeted, they think."

The insider also revealed that Singer's six-figure paycheck may have also contributed to the producers' decision to demote her. Not only that, she is also considered as the longest-running cast member of RHONY who has been with the show since it premiered in 2008.
