Thousands of attendees at Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards paid their respects to the late actor, Robin Williams, through a special montage tribute that featured some of his most memorable photos.

In the photos, Williams was mostly photographed wearing his signature comical smile.

The touching video was made even more emotional through the help of Coldplay's single, "Sky Full of Stars."
