Although Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge might have the means to spend thousands on designer outfits it doesn't mean that she is opposed to bargain shopping.
According to Entertainment Wise, Kate Middleton was seen hitting one of her favorite spots, the Bicester shopping village in Oxfordshire over the weekend.
Shoppers saw Prince William's wife as she navigated her way in the shopping outlet that is famous for its designer bargains, in order to pick up some new clothes from her son Prince George.
While making sure to stop in designer stores Gucci and Ralph Lauren, she also browsed Lacoste and was spotted looking at baby pajamas.
A witness told The Sun, "Kate came in on Sunday on her own, just like anyone else, and browsed the sales racks," adding, "At first I didn't recognize her, I couldn't believe it was Kate. She was very friendly."
Middleton has made plenty of trips to the discount shopping outlet over the years so her recent trip to Bicester to pick up clothing for Prince George is really no surprise.
The tiny heir to the throne has become quite a trendsetter since his birth as outfits that he is spotted wearing typically sell out hours within hours.
Earlier this year George's adorable sailboat dungarees by London based-designer Rachel Riley that he wore during the royal tour sold out within hours of the little prince wearing them.
The Duchess of Cambridge is apparently also a fan of online shopping as German company, Jupiduu, is convinced the Middleton bought a blue slide from them via Amazon earlier this year.
The company is convinced she made the purchase under the name of Prince George's nanny.
Founder and managing director of the company Ken Buschmann told Elle Décor, "Thank goodness Irina, our intern, became a little bit suspicious when she was processing the order."
While George's nanny's name was on the order did not pose a red flag, the delivery address to Kensington Palace gave the royal away.
Buschmann said, "We are delighted to honor this order. We are sure that George will have lots of fun with his blue slide, the "Blue Whale," and of course we will go out of our way with the royal gift wrapping.
"We also want to enclose a thank you letter asking for a photo of little George with his new slide."
