Prince George is living the life! The Duchess of Cambridge revealed to former swimmer James Hickman that her son loves water and "grabbing things to splash with." The former world and Commonwealth champion asked Kate Middleton if she had taken him swimming yet.

"She said he loves the water and he grabs things to splash with. So, maybe he could be the next royal to take part in the Olympics, and if he was in swimming that would be incredible," he recalled.

The two spoke at a reception for SportsAid, which assists talented young athletes. New ambassador and tennis pro Laura Robson praised the Duchess of Cambridge for her involvement with the organization.

"To have someone as high profile as the Duchess being part of the organization makes a massive difference. She really wants to get involved, it's so good to have her on board," Robson raved.

Prince William recently agreed about George; joking bath time has become "more painful."

Fellow swimmer Tom Hamer shared his experience with meeting Middleton.

"I was more nervous meeting the Duchess, meeting the royal family is a once-in-a-lifetime thing," he explained, comparing it to competing in the final.

Rower Joshua Armstrong agreed, who she watched practice on a machine.

"She was asked if she wanted to have a go, but she said she couldn't because of her skirt," he said. "I was more nervous meeting her than I was when I was competing in the British championships, but when I started talking to her she was really nice."

At the time, Prince William was with brother Prince Harry in Glasgow greeting young coaches.

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton recently gave her first-ever TV interview. She discussed with Matt Lauer of NBC's "Today" all her charity work and fundraising projects.
