It looks like Ryan Gosling is quite the doting father-to-be as the actor has been catering to his pregnant girlfriend, Eva Mendes' every wish.

According to Us Weekly, the 33-year-old has taken on the job of the New York and Company collection designer's personal chef.

A source revealed, "Ryan goes out and gets the groceries," adding, "[Eva's] been wanting pasta, and he's cooking her meals."

The insider went on to say, "Ryan has already stepped into the role of caring father-to-be."

Mendes, 40, and her boyfriend are set to welcome their first child together in just a few months as the actress is rumored to be seven months pregnant.

The two fell for each other while on the set of their 2011 movie, "The Place Beyond the Pines" which was the same year the actor revealed that he would like to start a family at some point.

He told a UK newspaper, "I'd like to be making babies but I'm not, so I'm making movies," adding, "When someone comes along, I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that. I'll make movies until I make babies."

Last week news broke that Gosling's girlfriend Eva Mendes is pregnant with their first child and a source revealed, "She's been ready for motherhood for a while now," adding, "and to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her!"

Insiders said that the "Lost River" actress is determined to make their family status official before their bundle of joy arrives.

The source revealed, "Ryan doesn't think they need to marry just because they are having a baby, but Eva believes it's important to have their lives fully intertwined."

Whether they get married or not, it seems that Ryan Gosling will happily welcome a new baby girl or boy.

An insider explained, "[Ryan] loves babies, and he loved playing with the little boy who played our son. It was adorable to see him in that light."
