It looks like Naya Rivera is making headlines again. This time around sources are confirming that Big Sean's ex-fiancé will not return to "Glee" season 6 as a full-time series regular for the show's final run.

According to E! News, the actress who has portrayed former McKinely High student Santana, will not be a regular but will return on a recurring basis for an undisclosed number of episodes.

"Glee" insiders have confirmed that the reduced screen time for the brunette beauty came at her request. In turn the producers and network agreed in order to keep her happy.

In the past there have been several rumors that Naya Rivera was "fired" after her constant on-set feuding with costar Lea Michele.

Her rep issued a statement slamming the claims, "The newest story claiming that Naya Rivera was dropped from her recording contract with Columbia Records is absolutely false.

If the 'news' outlets who put out this story had bothered to contact anyone from her team, they would have learned this was false."

The rep went on to say, "To be clear, any rumors or statements made as fact, that Naya Rivera was fired or let go from Glee or dropped from her recording contract, are categorically false."

Also adding, "Someone obviously has an agenda to damage Naya's good name and the media are failing at their duty to responsibly vet their sources and verify what is true and what is not.

"Naya's attorneys are prepared to take any and all legal action to enforce and protect her rights." Reps from Columbia Records have yet to make a comment.

However sources said that the "Sorry" singer's status on "Glee" has nothing to do with any on-set drama with Michele.

An insider said, "Naya wants to have more time to explore her music and other endeavors."

"Glee" will see an extended hiatus this year and return midseason to Fox in 2015. Throughout the series each season aired 22 episodes however, the number may be reduced during the final run.
