Justin Bieber Gets Plea Deal In DUI Case, Not Charged In Phone Incident

Justin Bieber's legal drama just got a little less serious. He reached an agreement with the judge in his Miami drag racing/DUI case, and he will not be charged in the phone incident we told you about last month.

Bieber will plead guilty to reckless driving and all other charges would be dismissed. TMZ reports the star will pay a fine and attend anger management classes, but will not be placed on probation.

At first the judge wanted Selena Gomez's on again boyfriend to produce, star, and pay for an anti-drug PSA, which his legal team felt was inappropriate. Prosecutors also wanted him to complete drug and alcohol classes, but Bieber's team said he does not have substance abuse issues and taking the classes would admit he has a problem.

Once he completes the requirements of the settlement, the reckless driving conviction will be removed from his record.

Bieber lucked out again, as the LA County district attorney's office declined to file a felony charge against him over the alleged phone incident at a family entertainment park. It was referred to the LA city attorney's office to consider a possible misdemeanor prosecution.

Biebs and his camp were at Sherman Oaks Castle Park playing miniature golf when an altercation with a group of guys erupted. One onlooker from San Fernando Valley went for her phone to take pictures, ticking off the young star, who demanded she hand it over.

When the woman refused, Bieber allegedly went into her purse and took it. She fought him to get her phone back but he ripped it out of her hands, according to TMZ. Eventually he gave it back for her to unlock and prove there were no photos.

The woman explained to the "Boyfriend" crooner that she and her daughter wanted to say hi, when he began screaming at her.

"You're humiliating yourself in front of your daughter. Why don't you just get out of here," he said, driving the young girl to tears.

However now the young girl says she was only crying out of excitement to see Bieber.
