Kaley Cuoco plays hot neighbor Penny on ratings machine "The Big Bang Theory." However, the star admits she hardly watches herself on the show because she hates the sound of her voice. Is she crazy?

"I hate the sound of my voice. I can hear it from a mile away - it's nasally. Why do I talk like that? It freaks me out!" she exclaimed to The Hollywood Reporter for their Comedy Actress roundtable issue.

"OK, because I feel like I have the most annoying one. It's hard for me to watch Big Bang. I TiVo it at home to support the show, but there are 37 episodes on there [I haven't seen]," the actress continued.

Cuoco was joined by fellow funny girls Zooey Deschanel (New Girl), Emmy Rossum (Shameless), Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project), Taylor Schilling (Orange Is The New Black) and Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie).

Deschanel sympathized with the blonde star, saying, "No one likes their own voice."

Kaling added, "And you do not have an annoying voice, by the way."

The ladies also discussed the negative comments they receive by the media and other fans.

"You're ugly and fat, and that is so refreshing to us," Kaling recalled one reporter saying.

"What are you saying to me, sir?" she asked.

"Well, we're used to skinny people, and you're so ugly and refreshing," he said, trying to give her a compliment but actually insulting her.

Falco admits that for her Sopranos character, she used to always get the question, "How did they make you look so fat and old on that show?"

Deschanel and Cuoco echoed these claims, saying they usually receive, "You're so thin! You look so fat on TV."

Schilling chimed in, explaining her character Piper Chapman is often criticized when she meets "Orange is the New Black" fans.

"You're such a narcissist and so whiny. But I love everybody else on the show," they tell her.
