Critics Choice Awards 2021 Fashion: 3 Celebrities Who Slayed the Pantsuit Trend

Celebrities are going big for the recently concluded Critics Choice Awards 2021 as A-listers stepped up their fashion A-game, donning embellished dresses made by luxury fashion brands and glammed makeup.

Despite the socially distanced ceremony, Hollywood stars flaunted their red-carpet-ready outfits over social media.

Interestingly, there are some who veered away from the traditional looks featuring long, lavish gowns and went for an empowering "Working Girl" vibe.

With the androgynous trend back in full circle, these three celebrities showed how to rock pantsuit at the virtual Critics Choice Awards 2021.

Gal Gadot in Prabal Gurung

Amanda Seyfried, who is nominated for Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Marion Davies in the 2020 biographical drama film "Mank," looked completely opposite for her Golden Globes 2o21 look. The blonde beauty recreated a modern tuxedo as she was dressed in a Miu Miu pantsuit by celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart, whose famous clients also include Viola Davis and Gal Gadot. To create an interesting detail and to set apart from other stars, the award-winning actress appeared sporting an embellished bow-tie and crystals details over her mesh long sleeve top. She then paired it with a cropped black trouser top and black stilettos by Stuart Weitzman to create an elongated figure. Lastly, Seyfried opted for simple earrings from the New York-based Fred Leighton jewelry, while celebrity makeup artist Genevieve Herr chose an old Hollywood glam look, donning a bright, bold red lipstick.

Topping off the best-dressed celebrities in the pantsuit category is none other than singer Andra Day.

To separate her look from other red carpet queens, the "Goodbye Goodnight" hitmaker leaned towards the casual style donning a strapless top from Prada featuring two-toned contrasting shades of purple and olive green.

Another interesting detail about her top is the long flowy drape that perfectly suits her olive green Prada pants.

The 36-year-old British singer paired her stunning outfit with silver and diamond Chopard jewelry while keeping everything simple with a subtle glowy makeup with her brunette hair parted at the side.
