Amber Rose's Inclusive Simply Be Collection Is Out

Amber Rose is diving in hot into the inclusivity pot with her own Simply Be collection recently, and she celebrated the launch with a fun party at the Bootsy Bellows on Wednesday.

The actress' recent work is the collection of 25 summer pieces from skirts to tops, dresses, and many more. What's good is that the clothes come in sizes 6 to 32 in a hope to cater to all women and to further address the need to underline inclusivity.

Women Empowerment

The pieces come between $25 to $40. Rose said she wanted to use her line to celebrate and empower women through this collaboration called Edited by Amber Rose, with Simply Be. With the personality's fashion choices in her appearances, nothing lacking boldness was expected from the line.

Some of the most interesting ones are the vinyl tube dress that will really highlight the curves and the silver jumpsuit with low neckline and a flare leg. A blush off shoulder, long-sleeved bardot dress can easily flatter all the curves. All in all, the pieces are perfect for wide arrays of occasions, including night-outs or a stroll in the mall.

Rose has made it clear from day 1 that she wants the clothes to be inclusive. In an interview, the activist revealed that she considered all body types, including apple and pear shapes, and preempted problems, so she made the clothes stretchy. She also made sure that the clothes will not burn a hole in the pocket.

"I hope that everyone who wears the collection will feel empowered to love their bodies, celebrate their curves and be the best versions of their true selves," the 34-year-old model said.

Celebration For The Launch

Rose wore a body-hugging dress that showcases her ample bosoms and bared her tattoos and then topped the look with some oversized sunglasses. She partied it up with Blac Chyna during the celebration for the launch. Others present during the event were Madison Beer, Broderick Hunter, and Justine Skye.

In line with inclusivity, Rose had her fair share of body shaming. In 2016, the ex of Kanye West admitted she felt attacked by one of the judges of Dancing with the Stars Julianne Hough, saying she felt she was body shamed.

Clearly, body shaming has been experienced by people from all walks of life. It is a constant reminder for brands to champion positivity and all the more inclusivity with their works, and Rose's recent line did just that.
