Catherine Duchess of Cambridge's birthday is quickly approaching and Prince William is scrambling to find the ultimate surprise gift for his wife and it looks like Prince George's dad may be seeking help from Taylor Swift to do so.

Apparently the "22" singer and the royal had such a fun time while at a charity event, which resulted in the two singing a karaoke rendition of "Livin' On A Prayer" together, that the royal of Wales asked the country cutie to meet his wife, according to Entertainment Wise.

A source revealed to Closer Magazine, "William's been trying to get Kate's surprise sorted for 9 January when she turns 32," adding, "When he met Taylor Swift recently he asked her if there's any likelihood she's in the UK for the New Year, or just after, because he knows Kate's a fan and she's love to meet the singer."

While it is still up in the air as to whether Taylor Swift will join Catherine Duchess of Cambridge for her birthday, the new mom is looking forward to celebrating Prince George's first Christmas.

An insider revealed, "Like any new family, they're looking forward to having some alone time, but they also want to catch up with friends."

The source admitted that during the holiday season there may be some famous faces floating around the royal grounds and we don't mean other heirs to the throne.

The insider confessed, "There's talk of meeting with the Beckhams. William and David have been in touch since they worked on the Olympic bid together and they're going to be in London for part of the time, so there are tentative plans for a get together."
