Australian actress Yael Stone from "Orange Is The New Black" made a shocking confession during a chat with HuffPost Live; she was a virgin when she shot her first sex scene! Keep reading for more from this candid chat!

"I've never said this, but I did my first sex scene before I'd actually had sex in real life," Stone confessed.

"It was a leap of imaginative faith. A lot of times we create roles and they're experiences we haven't had but we have to imagine it. I happened to do that as a young 15-year-old person. The sex scenes are also a privilege, and we have to see it that way."

The star continued, "If it's written by great people - these people that write the show are really smart, we can trust them - I do feel like those scenes are really necessary."

Stone also appreciates the authentic sex scenes in "Orange is the New Black," which she says stems from realism as opposed to fantasy.

"[It's great] to be able to go into those private moments and try and be authentic with that, rather than some arched back, like wild orgasms. What are the awkward moments? What are the moments when you're like, 'You know what, I kind of don't want to do this anymore'? That's what I'm interested in," she explained. "We are very much people; we are very much women -- real women."

It was announced in May that "Orange is the New Black" was renewed for a third season on Netflix. Deadline broke the news last week that Stone has been bumped to cast regular.

She recently opened up to Cosmopolitan about her troubled character, Lorna Morello.

"Big Boo [Lea DeLaria] says in this one scene [in the first season] where she's taunting Lorna, 'I hope you don't get scammed on eBay, because that would be ironic.' And so I thought, 'OK, that's where we're heading. She's an eBay scammer.' But that's really all I knew; I really had no clue," she said of Morello's back story, which she was even unclear of in the first season.

However, Morello is actually in jail for stalking her "fiancé," Christopher.

"I think Lorna definitely goes to a place where they are in a full-blown relationship, where they have a dog together, where they're engaged to be married - where in actual fact, we learn that she's had one date with Christopher."
