Even though we are still absolutely devastated over the death or should we say murder of Aiden (Barry Sloane) in "Revenge" season 3, we thought you would be interested in knowing about the latest spoilers which involves a new love interest for Emily as well David Clarke updates.

According to Wetpaint, the ABC primetime soap opera will see cast member Emily VanCamp's character getting another love interest that will prove to be competition for fan favorite Jack Porter (Nick Wechsler).

Apparently in season 4 David Clarke isn't the only person from the past returning to the Hamptons. Emily's new love interest will come in the form of a romantic rival for Jack as well as one of his childhood friends.

TVLine revealed that the new character will have a military background but suffer from a touch of PTSD from his time in the service.

Initially he comes to the Hamptons with the intentions of having a short trip but ends up making his visit permanent after "Something life-changing happens to Jack."

Once in town, the new guy lays on the charm and manages to make "fast friends" with various characters including Emily.

Executive producer Aaron Harberts teased TVGuide.com about how the blonde beauty will take the news about her father's return from the dead.

He explained, "This year Emily has the opportunity to come out with David Clarke and the question becomes: Is Emily going to do it or not?"

He continued, "As we get to know more about Emily/Amanda, she also has to start confronting all of these things she's left undone and how she is going to clean up messes with the people who have taken such good care of her. As we launch into Season 4, Jack becomes the center of that journey."

However, Emily will need to keep her eyes open as Victoria Grayson will not be taking the news lightly. Harberts revealed, "[Victoria] takes stock in the horrible things that Emily has done and the chaos she has rained down on the Grayson family."

He added, "She's going to be pissed and she'll come out swinging. As Emily is trying to create a new, more positive life for herself... Victoria is going to be coming up behind her."
