"The Amazing Spider Man" co-stars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield found a nice way to ask the paparazzi to leave them alone; to focus on their favorite charities. The adorable couple stepped out Tuesday morning in New York with cardboard signs to cover their faces.

"Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside. And so we thought, let's try this again. We don't need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do --->"

Garfield walked next to his girlfriend, with a sign reading:

"www.youthmentoring.org, www.autismspeaks.org, (and don't forget) www.wwo.org, www.gildasclubnyc.org. Here's to the stuff that matters. Have a great day!"

This was not the first time they pulled this stunt. In September 2012, the pair was enjoying lunch when they realized they were being photographed.

They quickly scribbled down messages promoting other favorite charities.

"We just found out that there are paparazzi outside the restaurant we were eating in. So...why not take this opportunity to bring attention to organizations that need and deserve it? www.wwo.org www.gildasclubnyc.org. Have a great day!"

Garfield is an ambassador for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation, empowering orphans through athletics. According to the site he has helped children in places like Haiti and Ethiopia.

Stone's mother is a triple negative breast cancer survivor, who she starred in a campaign with advocating for early detection.

"To me, as her daughter who was not going through that incredible struggle, I had this insane amount of clarity," the "Easy A" star said. "Because I realized - all you have is the present."

The pair started dating in mid-2011 after starring together in "The Amazing Spider Man."
