Former ‘The Hills’ Antagonists Heidi Montag And Spencer Pratt Join 'Celebrity Wife Swap'

We watched their tumultuous relationship unfold over the course of MTV's "The Hills." Now, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are taking a different approach to their financial and marital situations...with ABC's "Celebrity Wife Swap!" Wait until you hear how much they got paid!

The controversial couple, who admitted to eating off food trucks after "living like Jay Z and Beyonce," will trade places with Olympic medalist Amanda Beard and her husband Sacha Brown. Speidi will be in for it, as they do not have any kids at the moment while Beard and Brown have two.

Speidi received $50,000 for the swap, which is $20,000 higher than most couples. They promoted the episode on twitter which airs June 19 at 8 p.m.

Beard wrote, "Check out Celebrity Wife Swap on ABC tonight at 10P to get a sneak peak of our upcoming EP which will air Thursday June 19th @ 8:00pm #CWS."

The reality star replied, "Amanda! Can't wait for our episode of #CWS June 19 at 8pm! On @ABCNetwork."

Montag and Pratt admitted to In Touch last year how they blew through their $10 million fortune.

"Every time we'd go out to eat, we'd order $4,000 bottles of wine. Heidi was going to the mall and dropping $20,000-$30,000 a day," the bad boy said.

Other expenses include Montag's 10 plastic surgeries in one day, which cost around $200,000, her hair and makeup regime, high-end eateries, and of course, her failed album.

They stayed relevant after a stint on "Big Brother" and E! special "After Shock: Heidi & Spencer."

"I think we decided to do the programme because we never really showed our side of things,' Montag said at the time. "And because we've always been in really manipulated circumstances like on The Hills and Big Brother. We've never been able to show who we really are and this programme helps us to do that."
