Despite rumors that Zac Efron is dating his costar Halston Sage, it looks like the two may have split already. The 26-year-old actor recently admitted that it is difficult for a guy to be dating and that as an actor he finds it hard to commit to a relationship.

According to Xpose Entertainment, Seth Rogen's costar chatted with the British newspaper Metro and revealed that he has yet to find the one girl who will make him want to settle down.

He explained, "As actors we are constantly running around and having adventures - our job can involve a lot of different twists and turns that we don't always expect. And I don't want to go into a relationship in which I can't 100 per cent commit to that person all the time."

Zac Efron revealed that he thought his film, "That Awkward Moment" gave the audience a great look into how men struggle dating women in this day and age.

Despite calling plenty of Hollywood beauties his girlfriend, including the likes of Lily Collin and Vanessa Hudgens, the actor admitted that he could definitely relate to his character Jason in the film.

He explained, "I think this film is the first look into what it's like to be a guy dating at our age and what it is like to be out there.

"It can be difficult, especially in scenarios like in this movie, when you are young and single and figuring out your own life."

He went on to say, "We walk a fine line between being good, caring guys deep down, and then waking up the next day and feeling guilty about our commitment issues. At the same time we have to live our lives. That's why guys can relate to this movie."

Efron has been stretching his talents out lately as the actor not only took on the role of the lead character in the comedy but he also acted as an executive producer on the flick.

The actor was more than happy to take the credit for the success following the movie's release.

He explained, "This was my first movie as producer and it meant I was able to help facilitate who was in the film. I felt like I was a little bit instrumental in putting it together, so I took a lot of pride in how this film was made, from the ground up."

He added, "Movies are not just made by actors or directors or photographers. There's a whole crew and it's a massive undertaking."
