It looks like "True Blood" season 7, which will also be the last of the HBO series is gearing up to be one that fans will always remember.

According to E! News, cast member Sam Trammell who plays a shifter who is now the mayor of Bon Temps, Sam Merlotte couldn't help but spill some spoilers as the premiere to the series is just weeks away.

The actor admitted that as mayor his character "went off the rails there for a couple episodes." In the end of "True Blood" season 6 we saw non-Hepatitis-V carrying humans paired up with vampires and a pack of infected vampires with their sights set on Bellefleur's (Arlene's restaurant).

While at "The Fault in Our Stars" movie premiere, Trammell told the celebrity news site, "It's pretty nuts, it's a tough town...There's some serious stuff coming our way with those vampires."

He went on to reveal, "It's an insane season, it's great. People are going to love this final season." However, he admitted that despite looking forward to the series' return to television the end is bittersweet.

Sam Trammell explained, "All of us, we're really sad. It's been seven years. We're in the last month of shooting so we're saying goodbye to this set or that actor...It's just a fun world where anything can happen."

Just last month the trailer for the last season of the series debuted with a certain hot tall, blonde vampire missing.

Fans may recall that the last time we saw Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) he was naked on top of a mountain reading.

"True Blood" season 7 premieres Sunday, June 22nd at 9 p.m. on HBO.
