It seems like Columbus Short, will never learn. The "Scandal" season 3 star who was fired from the ABC series recently violated the restraining order his wife Tanee McCall-Short filed against.
According to Hollywood Life, the 31-year-old who threatened to kill his wife, 33, at their Los Angeles home on April 7th was hit with a restraining order and charged with criminal domestic violence and child abuse.
However, over Easter weekend around April 20th, Short broke into his and Tanee's once-shared home and ransacked the place.
TMZ obtained the new court documents that his wife filed claiming that the actor who played Harrison on the hit ABC series broke into their home while she was away.
Not only did the actor violate the restraining order but he also decided to destroy several items on the property.
TMZ reported that Columbus short allegedly "broke a door off its hinges, ripped off her bed sheets, left on a bunch of lights," and "made her fear for her safety and the safety of their 2-year-old daughter."
Since the filing the actor has been fighting the restraining order, insisting that he has the right to "come and go as he pleases because his name is on the lease."
With of his bad press it is believed that Short was fired from "Scandal" because his behavior was not an image the network wanted associated with the popular show.
The actor recently laughed off his domestic abuse charges during a chat with Roland Martin on News One Now.
He said, "I don't mean to laugh, but it just - it just sounded - it read outlandish and it sounds even more outlandish coming out of your mouth," adding, "Don't believe everything you read."
