After mass speculation surrounding Gwen Stefani replacing Christina Aguilera on upcoming "The Voice" season, the star confirmed via Instagram she will join the judges' panel!

The "No Doubt" front woman uploaded a picture of the singing competition's logo; holding a microphone in her hand while doing the peace sign.

Stefani captured the image, "it's true! gx @nbcthevoice."

Host Carson Daly also announced the big news on last night's episode, stating:

"Before we start the show, I want to make a very, very big announcement for us here," Daly said. "This all just happened moments ago. We're very happy to officially announce that two superstars will be joining the next season in these coaches' chairs: Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani will be added to the Voice family. We're so happy to have them join our ever-growing Voice family. They're both incredible people, insanely talented."

He later tweeted, "Alright! It's official now! Welcome our friend @gwenstefani to #thevoice !!!!!"

Past judges include Cee Lo Green, Usher, and Shakira.

Stefani will be taking over Aguilera's role as she prepares for baby No.2 with fiancé Matt Rutler. According to ABC, Aguilera will return for season 8 after the birth of her daughter.

The "Come On Over" crooner tweeted her support as well, writing:
