Shailene Woodley is psyched to spend more time with her "Divergent" cast member boyfriend Theo James now that "Allegiant," the final book in Veronica Roth's trilogy series will be split into two movies.
However, the actress admitted that she was surprised to hear that she would be devoting another year to the franchise.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the 21-year-old talked about how she feels about making four movies rather than three while attending the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.
She revealed, "I just heard that as well," adding, "I am excited, but my very first thought, if I'm being honest was, 'Okay. All right. That's another year of kicking ass. Another year devoted to this character.'
"But that's all right, because I am honored to be Tris, and it is exciting. 'Divergent' was a very fun film to make, and I worked with some great people.
"It is also really exciting that just after coming off promoting this one, we start filming the next one in like a month. It will be nice to get into it."
Woodley attended the Los Angles award show to introduce a new, highly anticipated clip from her upcoming film "The Fault in Our Stars" alongside costar Ansel Elgort.
Miles Teller's costar admitted that it was physically more challenging to play Hazel rather than the athletic and strong Tris.
She confessed, "I didn't have to change much in terms of eating or exercise or anything to do Divergent."
The actress explained, "I had to do much more in terms of physical transformation for Hazel in Fault In Our Stars.
"Especially going from Tris with strong muscles and long hair to Hazel, who is sick and weak and in a very hard and sad situation. ...The messages are so important in Fault.
"I can't wait for people to see it. I feel so honored to be a small part of that movie. I know that sounds cliché, but it is true. The demographic is unlimited. It has the potential to reach so many people."
