Blast from the past? "Burn" singer Ellie Goulding took her fashion years back as she stepped onto the "Divergent" red carpet wearing shoulder pads.

According to the Daily Mail, the "Lights" artist enjoyed a fun fashion throwback at the Los Angeles movie premiere of "Divergent" on Tuesday night which she posted on Instagram.

Goulding decided it was a night to show a lot of skin as the dressed flaunted the blonde's long legs and featured a dramatic plunging neckline that was slashed almost to her navel.

The British singer whose song "Beating Heart" makes an appearance in the final scene of the sci-fi movie, made her long legs look even longer by throwing on a pair of black leather Christian Louboutin heels.

Ellie Goulding decided to keep her accessories simple and wore a few statement rings. The songstress had natural makeup and wore her signature long platinum blonde hair loosely tousled looking as if she just rolled out of bed.

The pop star admitted that being featured on the soundtrack is a big deal for her and she hopes she will have the opportunity to have a song by her make it into the next film.

She told MTV News, "I've always loved the idea of doing a film soundtrack, so when I'd seen the film and they put some of my songs to it, my face lit up. I felt very excited.

"It's the first thing I've done where my voice is used amongst the soundtrack rather than just songs. Everyone might get a bit annoyed with my voice.

"I would love to appear on the next soundtrack. I would like to do stuff that's a more bit out of my comfort zone and a bit different. I make a lot of pop music that's my true love, but yeah, I'd love to keep doing music with these guys."
