"Glee" season 5 is well on it's wait to Fox with fans getting excited for the 100th episode of the series. Guest cast member Chace Crawford had fun in his new role that was less "Gossip Girl" Upper East Sider and more Northwest Douche.

The actor recently shared some details about his character on Saturday while at the DIRECTV Beach Bowl. The star who brought Nathaniel Archibald to life will now trade in his city life to head to Lima, Ohio with new girlfriend and former Cheerio Quinn Fabray played by Dianna Agron.

Crawford told MTV News, "I play, like, her douchey boyfriend from, like, the Northeast, so it's more of a character, it was a good time. [I did], like, four or five scenes, we had a blast."

He continued, "It was great, it's funny, I know like 80 percent of the cast already, [the show's creator] Ryan Murphy calls up and is like, 'come on,' you know, and [my first question was] 'do I have to sing?' I'm like, 'I'm not singing, I can't sing.' Anyway, I'm not singing."

The former CW heartthrob continued to gush over his connection with the cast. He said, "To be honest, I know, I know all of them, I did see Kristin Chenoweth (who plays April Rhodes), I love her, an Oklahoma girl, you know what I mean? We're OU fans, Boomer Sooner."

The 100th "Glee" episode which is expected to debut in March will not only feature Chace Crawford but also original cast members such as Harry Shum Jr. (who plays Mike Chang), Amber Riley (who plays Mercedes Jones), and Heather Morris (who plays Brittany Pierce).
