It looks like Catherine Duchess of Cambridge wants her baby boy to be a world traveler. It was recently confirmed that Prince George and his mom set out on their first vacation together to the Caribbean.

According to Us Weekly, Kate Middleton, 32, and her 6-month-old royal baby jetted off to the island of Mustique along with her parents Carole and Michael Middleton, her brother James Middleton and her equally fashionable sister Pippa Middleton and her boyfriend Nico Jackson.

However, noticeably missing from the trip is Prince George's father Prince William who stayed behind because of his commitment to Cambridge University. An insider explained, "William is staying back in the UK to continue with his Cambridge studies."

Back in December the 31-year-old royal enrolled at Cambridge University for a 10-week program to study agricultural management.

However, the Duke of Cambridge will not be away from his son for too long as Middleton and George are set to return home "[by the] end of next week."

Chances are Catherine Duchess of Cambridge will return to the United Kingdom with a glowing tan while attending the National Portrait Gallery gala, her first royal engagement of 2014 on February 11th.

She will then follow-up her appearance by opening the ICAP Art Room at Northolt High School in Ealing, London on Valentine's Day.
