It looks like Kate Middleton isn't the only one who gave birth to a royal baby as Zara Phillips has welcomed her first child into the world. The eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II delivered her baby on Friday, January 17th.
According to Us Weekly, the 32-year-old gave birth to a daughter with husband Mike Tindall at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Buckingham Palace announced the news in a statement but did not reveal the name. The statement read, "The baby's name will be confirmed in due course."
It continued, "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike's parents are delighted with the news."
The baby girl is Queen Elizabeth II's fourth great grandchild and is 16th in line for the royal throne. The infant weighed 7 pounds and 12 ounces at birth.
Other than being the daughter of Princess Royal Anne and first husband Captain Phillips, Zara Phillips is known for being a skilled Olympic equestrian. She is also a cousin of Princes William and Harry.
The blonde beauty met rugby player Tindall, 35, in 2003. The couple was married in 2011 and announced that they were expecting their first child back in July.
