It looks like one title Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton will not be receiving is royal godparents to Prince George Alexander Louis. It seems Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William decided not to make their younger siblings godparents to their first born son.

With Prince George's christening just hours away at St. James Palace in London on Wednesday, October 23th at Kensington Palace, a short list of expected guests at the royal christening was released and revealed the royal baby's godparents selected by his parents Prince William and Kate Middleton, according to Us Weekly.

While William's brother Harry, 29, and the Middleton's hard partying sister Pippa, 30, weren't deemed godparents several familiar royal names are on the list for George's christening. Among those names are Zara Phillips who is Prince William's first cousin, daughter of Princess Royal Anne and 15th in line to the throne. She happens to be the one royal relative among George's godparents.

Other names listed are William van Cutsem, a childhood friend of William as a well as Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who served as Private Secretary to the Duke, Duchess and Prince Harry from 2005 to 2012, the magazine reported.

Oliver Baker who attended the University of St. Andrews with Kate and William is a godparent along with Emilia Jardine-Paterson who is good friend of Kate Middleton from Marlborough College.

Earl "Hugh" Grosvenor, son of the Duke of Westminster was also given the honor. Finally as an ode to Prince George's late grandmother, Julia Samuel, a close friend of Princess Diana's is the seventh godparent.

In total, only 22 people will be attending the royal baby's christening. The godparents along with their spouses will be joined by fellow guests Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Prince Harry, Michael and Carole Middleton, and Kate's siblings Pippa and James.

For the big event, Prince George will wear a hand-made replica of the royal christening robe made by the Queen's dressmaker, Angela Kelly. During the baptism the Duke and Duchess' son will be held in the Lily Font in water from the River Jordan.
