It looks like many of Kristen Stewart's costars have taken a liking to her former boyfriend Robert Pattinson as Dakota Fanning was recently spotted grabbing lunch with the British heartthrob without beau Jamie Strachan.

According to Hollywood Life, after much speculation that the "Cosmopolis" actor and the "On the Road" star would spend New Year's Eve together the actor was instead spotted grabbing a bit to eat in Brooklyn with none other than Kristen Stewart's "The Runaways" costar Dakota Fanning.

Apparently the "Twilight" couple was supposed to spend Christmas together in London but the actress ended up canceling her trip because she wanted to respect the wishes of his family seeing as they're still upset over her cheating scandal with her married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.

Rather than staying in London to ring in 2014 Pattinson found himself on a flight to New York rather than Los Angeles.

Although Stewart was hopeful that the actor would spend New Year's Eve with her, he instead opted for some food with a group of friends, including Dakota Fanning.

The "Very Good Girls" star joined her former "Twilight Saga" cast member and a group of 10 friends at the Williamsburg, Brooklyn restaurant Juliette around 1:30pm on December 31, 2013.

Although it was questionable as to why the hunk chose to hang out with his ex-girlfriend's friend on NYE a restaurant employee insisted that the lunch was "guys and girls. He was sitting next to a girl. They acted just like friends."

The humble actor didn't even request for star treatment despite his superstar status. Apparently the group "came in as a walk-in," with no reservation, and "Rob waited at the bar with some of his friends."

The pals actually had to wait a little while for their table at the busy Williamsburg eatery but nobody in his group tried to take advantage of Robert Pattinson's celebrity as they waited "a half hour for their table."
