Dakota Fanning and her boyfriend Jamie Strachan were spotted holding hands in New York City. The "Very Good Girls" star seems to be going string with her British model beau.

According to E! News, while running errands the couple decided to indulge in some retail therapy. Fanning and Strachan were all smiles as they walked hand and hand during their day out.

The 19-year-old and her 32-year-old boyfriend dressed casual during their Manhattan stroll. Elle Fanning's sister wore a pair of blue boyfriend jeans, red shoes, and a gray shirt. She completed her look with sunglasses, a necklace and black purse.

Meanwhile Strachan, carried a J. Crew shopping bag and sported blue jeans, a red hoodie under, a dark denim jacket and black shoes.

The couple first went public with their romance in May when they were spotted holding hands in a similar fashion.

At the time, a source revealed to the celebrity news site that the couple met through mutual friends and had actually been dating for a few months.

A source said that Jamie Strachan is "very shy and incredibly nice and sweet." The model previously dated Adam Levine's current fiancé Behati Prinsloo.

The insider also revealed that as of September, the couple wasn't living together.

Previously the actress told Glamour, "I don't really date."

She added, "I have a weird vision of relationships because my parents have known each other since second grade, and they got married right out of college. I've always thought that's what it's supposed to be like, and if it's not, then I don't want to waste my time on it.

"Even when I was 14, I was like, 'I'm not gonna marry this person. What's the point of doing it?' It's not me being naive. I just know what it's supposed to be like. And I think until I feel that, I cannot be bothered."

Well it looks like she doesn't mind being bothered by Jamie Strachan.
