The controversial performer got off of the same jet as hunky "Twilight" star, prompting many fans to speculate about the two being a "hot new Hollywood couple."
But Cyrus' crushes can breathe a sigh of relief. Despite the mini-getaway, a source told E! News that the pair are "definitely not a couple" and just have the same friends.
But this romance rumor is far from the first one that has surrounding the singer.
Last weekend, Cyrus was spotted with rapper, French Montana. The two were seen hugging and "getting close" on Friday after Cyrus' performance at Z100's Jingle Ball in New York City. Lutz was also at the huge holiday-themed concert, taking the stage to introduce singer, Enrique Iglesias.
Cyrus may be dealing with the speculation about Lutz, but the twerking queen is living the single life after her split from the "Hunger Games" actor.
"I was so scared of ever being alone," said Cyrus to Barbara Walters during her "Most Fascinating People" interview, which aired Wednesday. "I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year. I don't ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can't be yourself."
