Just like any other girl Vanessa Hudgens has to work to get her boyfriend's attention. The "Spring Breakers" star was spotted kissing Austin Butler after trying a few silly antics to shifted his focus on her lips rather than his cell phone.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple was photographed on Wednesday in Venice, California grabbing a bite to eat with a couple of friends.

However, "The Carrie Diaries" star took a special interest in his phone rather than his girlfriend until she began her distraction methods.

In an effort to take his eyes off of the mobile device the actress twirled around in her boyfriend's upheld arm then squatted in order to cling to his waist where she held the pose before he brought her up for a sweet kiss.

Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler were joined by some friends and were seen toting around brown paper bag lunches as they searched for the perfect picnic spot.

The actress seems to be enjoying her time off since promoting her latest movie "Gimme Shelter" that was finally green lit for distribution.

In the past Hudgens spoke about the challenges that comes along with playing teen mom Apple Bailey.

She told E! News that the scene in which she is in the delivery room was one of the most intense to film. She explained, "Probably the most physical and emotionally draining scene was my birthing scene.

"I've never shot a birthing scene and I ended up popping blood vessels in my face."

The actress also admitted that she formed a bond with the baby that played her child on set.

"The Frozen Ground" star confessed, "It's odd, it really is. I mean, I totally had a connection with my baby - my movie baby - and I just had so much love for her but afterwards they call 'cut' and take the baby away and I'm just left there hanging."
