Vanessa Hudgens along with millions of fans are super excited about joining her best friend Ashley Tisdale for a "High School Musical" reunion.
According to E! News, the "Spring Breakers" star along with Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, Kaycee Stroh, Olesya Rulin and director Kenny Ortega will reunite next month for a party benefiting costars Monique Coleman's GimmeMo' foundation.
While promoting her upcoming film "Gimme Shelter," Austin Butler's girlfriend explained, "She gave me a call and she was like, 'Would you like to do that? Is this something that interests you?' and I was like, 'Yes, yes, and yes,'"
She added, "Me and Ashley had always joked around about having a High School Musical reunion. And we all love each other.
"We had the most amazing time of our lives together. To be able to come back after five years now, it'll be a really amazing thing. We're trying to set a date."
Vaness Hudgens confessed, "It's just an excuse for all of us to see each other, really."
Unfortunately "The Frozen Ground" star's ex-boyfriend Zac Efron will not make the epic reunion.
Prior to breaking his jaw he tweeted, "Thanks for organizing the #HSMreunion @gimmemotalk!"
He added, "Sorry I can't be there, but I support your cause. Proud of you M."
The "High School Musical" franchise began as a television movie on the Disney Channel in 2006.
A sequel to the flick premiered the following year and in 2008 the final film debuted in movie theaters.
According to the celebrity news site, the three "High School Musical" films have reportedly been watched by more than 225 million viewers.
