Although his marriage with Miranda Kerr may be over it looks like Orlando Bloom hasn't given up on romance. In a new interview with Elle magazine the "Romeo and Juliet" Broadway star admitted that despite his failed nuptials he still has faith in true love.
According to Us Weekly, the "Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" actor revealed to the January issue of the magazine, "I'm completely in love with the idea of love. Maybe I'm all misty about it because I'm playing Romeo."
The star just finished his run as the male lead in a Broadway revival of Shakespeare's "Romeo & Juliet" starring opposite of Condola Rashad as the titled characters.
Focusing on the concept of love, Orlando Bloom went on to say, "But I really believe in, you know, that sort of heart-to-heart-connection."
Up next for the 36-year-old, he is set to go full frontal in his upcoming crime movie "Zulu." He admitted, "I got in the best shape of my life for that movie," adding, "It was quite amusing walking around set and seeing the crew avert their eyes at first.
"Then there were a few more people watching playback. I got so comfortable with it I could brush up behind someone and go, 'Oh , excuse me.' It is what it is."
Relaxed the actor added, "It's flesh and bone. It's what we all are."
