Ashley Tisdale has a lot going on in her life right now from her upcoming wedding with fiancé Christopher French to her new single "You're Always Here."
Vanessa Hudgens' best friend recently sat down to speak about planning her upcoming nuptials and her music.
She told E! News, "I have a wedding planner so that's a lot easier," adding, "I'm definitely a perfectionist, so I'm definitely involved with certain things that you'd think I'd be relaxed on. I just want it to be perfect."
The former "High School Musical" star revealed that her new song "You're Always Here" is personal and close to her heart.
Ashley Tisdale explained, "It's actually about my grandfather who passed away in September. It was something that just kind of came organically.
"I would go on walks and just write down some lyrics-and didn't even think I was gonna make it into a song-but my fiancé [Christopher French] who produces music, actually sat down with me and we put it together."
She added, "Part of the proceeds go to St. Jude's hospital. It's really just for my grandfather. It's just something that I wanted to celebrate and it's been really hard so it's kind of helped me to get through it I guess."
But should the actress be mixing business with pleasure? Well apparently working with her future husband on music is not a problem.
The songstress said, "It was great. I wouldn't have done it otherwise, just because it's such a personal song and he's really the one who's been going through it with me and understands me and really knew exactly what I wanted to do, and I think for him it was really just trying to help me get through what I was experiencing."
How sweet of him!
