Despite his injury Zac Efron was all smiles as he attended an Indianapolis Colts game on Sunday, December 15th just a little over a month after breaking his jaw and having his mouth wired shut.
According to Us Magazine, Colts player Matt Overton posted a photo with the actor to his Twitter account after the game following the big win in which the Indianapolis Colts beat the Houston Texans 25 to 3.
Efron joined the team in their locker room at Lucas Oil Stadium for a post game celebration. In the picture Overton posted to his social media account he attached the caption, "Winning feels so damn good! Zac Efron came to party too."
The two men stood beside one another smiling brightly as the "Neighbors" actor held onto a football while the NFL player gave an approving gesture of the "thumbs up" sign to the camera. The photo features Zac Efron wearing a blue Santa hat as he does his best smile despite having a wire hold his mouth together.
The 25-year-old star broke his jaw after slipping on a puddle in his Los Angeles home. His good friend Adam Shankman who he worked with on "Hairspray" told the publication, prior to entering rehab, that he was helping Efron in his process of recovery.
On November 14th, at the 6th annual Go Go Gala in Los Angeles, Shankman explained, "I have been at his house every day and I have been making him soup. He has been drinking it through his straw."
He added, "He has to eat through a straw on a syringe. It's horrible."
Zac Efron's rumored girlfriend Lily Collins is also rumored to be helping out the star in his time of need but was not in attendance at the game.
