Kelly Clarkson recently announced her first pregnancy! The "Tie It Up" singer took to Twitter to share the exciting news that she's expecting a baby with new husband, Brandon Blackstock.

According to US Weekly, the former "American Idol," 31, was so happy about welcoming her new addition in 2014.

"I'm pregnant!!!" tweeted Clarkson to her nine million followers. "Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever."

The performer had just married her longtime love, Blackstock on Oct. 20. But her pregnancy didn't come out of nowhere, for she's been very vocal in recent weeks about starting a family.

"More than anything, next I want a baby," gushed Clarkson to US before tying the knot." Lots of them! My record label is freaking out because all I can talk about now are babies. We're really excited and want to get our family started."

As far as how the birthing process will be, the blonde songstress had an idea about that as well.

"I'm 31 and we'd like to do it the natural way," said Clarkson. "My eggs aren't getting any younger! So we're really excited."

It appears that the songbird's new baby will join an already big family.

"[Brandon] has two kids that I love and they are cool with it," explained Clarkson, referring to her husband's children,  Savannah, 11, and Seth, 7, from his previous relationship. "We got the A-okay from them so we are ready to go. That's definitely the next big project we're going to start on."

And when it came to baby making, the "Stronger" singer even had a game plan that she was following.

"[We want a baby] like now! Practice makes perfect!" said Clarkson to Jay Leno, laughing on Nov. 11. "We do, we do. We're trying, trying, trying. We have two kids, and they're so great. And I never wanted kids before, but now I want, like, five."
