Happy Monday Beauty World Newsers and Happy Holidays! The festive season has been kicked up into high gear. Sure we have a lot of gift buying, long lines, and online browsing to get through, but don't forget one of the best things about this time of year...the upcoming holiday parties! From home hosting to restaurant gatherings, fancy nighttime events, and even office parties, it's time to get your holiday beauty gear ready. Check out a few of the things I'll be using this season and see if they're must-adds to your shopping list.

Nothing screams holiday season for me like the color red. This is by far my favorite shade for both lips and nails, and this time of year, I can get away with wearing them the most. For lips, I like to amp up my crimson with a touch of sparkle. This year, I'll be rocking LipSense in shade Big Apple. The long-lasting lip color has a bright red sheen perfect for holiday pictures. It also comes with a Moisturizing Gloss to really add an extra boost of shine. Order it through SeneGence for $22. It's also a fave of Christina Aguilera's too!

For nails, I'm keeping them dressed in bright fire engine red and gold. I am reprising my love for OPI's Skyfall Collection, and refreshing shades Goldeneye, Die Another Day, and The Living Day Lights. These $8 shades pop off any skintight tone and will add a touch of glittery sparkle to any look.

And for eyes, I'm reprising the Pantone Color of the Year. Greens are always a go for the holidays, so Revlon's Satin Eyeshadow in Peacock Lustre is a great way to incorporate this jewel tone hue into your holiday plans. It's discontinued, but you can get it online from a few diffrent outlets for as little as $2! The suede-like texture glides on to easily to leave a pearlized finish. Bring on the luster!
