It looks like another member of the "Jersey Shore" cast has had a baby. The MTV star Known as Pauly D whose real name is Paul DelVecchio recently welcomed his first child into the world with a former fling.

According to TMZ, the DJ confirmed the baby news to the tabloid on Tuesday, October 22nd.

The site reported that although her name is unknown the mother of DelVecchio's child is 26-years-old.

The pair apparently hit things off in Las Vegas which resulted in the baby girl. Although the two are not together the mother of the child currently resides in New Jersey with the baby.

The reality star told TMZ, "I'm proud I'm a father," he added, "I am excited to embark on this new part of my life."

The site said that prior to the paternity tests for the baby Pauly accepted responsibility for the child who was born a few months ago. However, the final results concluded that he was indeed the father of the baby girl.

His "Jersey Shore" cast mate Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is also a parent to son Lorenz who is nearly 14 months with fiancé Jionni LaValle.

The star recently began retweeting warm wishes from friends congratulating him on being a dad.
