Over the weekend Zac Efron celebrated his 26th birthday with a couple of famous friends. The "Parkland" actor who successfully completed a stint in rehab five months ago rang in another year on this earth at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, California on Sunday.
According to Us Weekly a source said, "Zac had a small birthday party at Chateau last night," adding, "No girls at the table."
It looks like it was a boy's night as Efron's pals Robert Pattinson, Joe Jonas and his "That Awkward Moment" costar Michael B. Jordan joined him for a fun night out.
Spotted earlier in the day, "The Neighbors" actor putted a few golf balls around with his father David at the Callaway Golf Center in Carlsbad. According to the magazine, the single actor wore jeans a blue t-shirt and black sunglasses.
In mid-September, several sources confirmed to the publication that the former Disney "High School Musical" star completed a treatment program for problems with cocaine and alcohol.
An insider revealed, "He realized he needed outside help."
The source explained, "He reached out for it and is doing great now."
Another insider added, "He is cutting those toxic people out of his life. [His] friends are happy for him."
After news of his struggle with substance abuse was made public the actor took to Twitter to thank his fans for their support and seems to have been enjoying his life every since.
Following his break up with "Spring Breakers" star Vanessa Hudgens, Efron was recently photographed getting cozy with his former "Hairspray" costar, Brittany Snow at the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride on October 10th.
The next day he was spotted getting cozy with ex-girlfriend Lily Collins at a Los Angeles movie theater.
