It seems like Lily Collins is doing her best to move on from former boyfriend Jamie Campbell Bower but is going back to her ex-beau Zac Efron the best answer?

The two were recently spotted together and are said to have went on a romantic date a couple of days before the actor made an interesting announcement.

Efron, 26, and Collins, 24, were photographed exiting a Hollywood theater walking close by one another but were sure not to hold hands as they made their way through the parking lot to his car.

However, the two did get into Efron's car together. Hollywood Life reported that the fashionable Collins dressed casual wearing an oversized sweater with "little-to-no makeup" on her face which only illuminated her bold eyebrows.

According to the celebrity gossip site, Star reported that "They got very cozy during the date," which happened on October 11th.

Apparently Zac Efron and Lily Collins dated for a few months back in 2012, but their relationship was "just a casual thing and it fizzled [out]" and the two were "never serious."

Just four days after his date with "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" star the "Parkland" actor told reporters he didn't have a girlfriend.

During a Yahoo Movies Q&A for his upcoming comedy "That Awkward Moment" actor who previously had a stint in rehab following a cocaine addiction discussed his relationship status.

He said, "I'm single."

But he did reveal that he has an awesome support system despite his solo status.

He said, "I know my family's always going to be there, but then there's also as life changes sometimes they can't really be there for you in the way that you need, so I rely on my friends."

So maybe Lily Collins is a friend that Zac Efron confides in.
