As "Glee" season 5 episode 3 nears its premiere date it seems like Lea Michele's heart is finally beginning to heal after her boyfriend Cory Monteith was found dead.
The 27-year-old actress seems to be slowly moving on after the actor who played Finn Hudson on the Fox hit show dead body was found in his Vancouver hotel after he missed his checkout time.
According to the latest issue of Us Weekly, a source said that Michele was heard talking with friends about a cute boy at a recent Hollywood party.
The insider said, "She was excited he was coming."
However, the singer still continues to grieve for her boyfriend of more than a year, who died on July 13th at age 31.
A friend close to the actress revealed, "She talks about Cory constantly," adding, "She tries to remember the good times."
Lea Michele even offered her input to "Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy when he was writing the tribute episode, "The Quarterback," for Monteith and his character.
For the episode the actress covers Bob Dylan's emotional ballad "Make You Feel My Love."
A source told the magazine that during the process in which the episode was being written that "Lea wants it to reflect the truth, to warn people what can happen."
Murphy recently said the experience of filming Cory Monteith's memorial episode was "very rough" for his girlfriend, as well as the rest of the cast.
Murphy shared, "Almost everything in that episode is from the first take of every performance, because the actors and the crew had a really hard time shooting it."
He added, "I've never seen a crew where you can't continue shooting because they left the room sobbing."
