Zac Efron: Neighbors
Zac Efron: Parkland
According to E! Online, the 25-year-old star is looking better than ever.
Efron recently walked the red carpet at this year's Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of his "Parkland" film, which is an ensemble drama about the John F. Kennedy assassination. The hunky screen star showed that he was on truly on top of the world and doing very well.
"I'm good, real good," Efron said on the red carpet to the media.
It's hard to believe that the star acturally completed a rehab stint about five months ago. Sources told E! News exclusively about the star's troubles and time seeking professional help.
But now, Efron is back on track and taking the world by storm again.
"He's happy, healthy and not drinking," a source said. "He's taking time to focus on working."
Efron is busy promoting his two new films. "Parkland," in particular, was a very challenging role for the young actor, who played Jim Carrico, the then-28 year old doctor who was the first to examine Kennedy at Parkland Memorial Hospital after the president was shot in Dealey Plaza.
"The three days are really shrouded in so much mystery and controversy with conspiracy theories," Efron said at TIFF. "Growing up, I didn't know what was fact or fiction. But the simple truths of what transpired that we know for a fact are all in this movie."
Aside from "Parkland" and the comedy, "Neighbors," Efron will star in "That Awkward Moment," a comedy starring Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller hitting theaters in January.
