Their "Parkland" movie is a recounting of the choatic events at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas on the day of U.S. President John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963.

According to USA Today, the film is full of surprises despite focusing on a real-life tragedy. The movie bounces back and forth between mulitple people and their points of view in the three days following the assassination.

The story shows Efron and Hanks playing ER doctors trying to save JFK. It also focuses on the family of Kennedy's reported murderer and sniper, Lee Harvey Oswald, played by Jeremy Strong.

Weaver and Dale play Oswald's mother and brother, respectively. And Giamatti plays Abraham Zapruder, a shocked bystander who videotaped the assassination on his Super 8 camera.

Giamatti described just how he felt played such an important character, whose life was forever changed by the day, to USA Today.

"The first day of this movie was my first day on Dealey Plaza [ in Dallas, Texas,"] Giamatti said to the newspaper. "I had to stand up on the thing (Zapruder) stood on, and I had to shout the stuff he shouted. It was odd. It was definitely creepy. It felt out-of-body and strange."

The movie will arrive on the big screen just weeks before the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's assassination. Moviegoers can see the film when it hits theaters on Oct. 4.
