Despite "Homeland" Season 3 episode 1 being leaked online, there are still many spoilers left to reveal befre the premiere date of the Showtime hit series.
Starting with Damian Lewis, who plays Brody's potential departure from the series. Well, that's if anyone decides takes the actor up on his word.
According to E! News, Lewis spilled to the latest issue of Esquire magazine about his dreams to play James Bond someday. The actor said, "Yes, I think it would be wonderful."
He explained, "Daniel [Craig] is doing an amazing job and he'll continue to do it for a bit. But if it ever comes to that, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it."
Although he is open to be the next 007, Lewis is reluctant to take on the title. He said, "You just have to do what seems interesting at the time."
He continued, "If someone said, 'We want you to play Amazing-Man in the next Amazing-Man franchise,' I suspect one year it would feel right, the next year it wouldn't."
Even though Lewis isn't jumping ship from "Homeland" just yet, he did tell Esquire that in the long run he wants to return to his hometown and settle down there.
Lewis explained, "People jump from series to series to series and they make a great living doing that. That's not what I want to do."
"I want to do theatre and film and direct my own things and develop. But essentially, I want to be in England."
As for spoilers pertaining to season 3, get ready for Carrie to be completely devoted to the man that she used to deem a terrorist.
According to E! News, "Carrie's heart, for now, belongs to Brody. She's too preoccupied with protecting him and dealing with Saul to bat her eyelashes at Quinn. And worse news for Quinn-Carrie fans: there might be romance brewing with a new person on the team and Quinn."
