With the premiere of "Homeland" season 3 just around the corner, fans are anticipating the return of the hit Showtime series.
With Brody being turned into a double agent, his future is going to be complicated and in the latest promo video the cast spills juicy spoilers from their upcoming season.
According to Latinos Post, in a recent interview Damian Lewis, who plays Nicholas Brody, dished about his character and the challenges he will face.
"There are points in the season where you will question whether Brody does want to live," Lewis said.
He added, "Uppermost in his mind is his family, always. But honestly, at this point, if he's caught, he's going to the chair."
"There is so much overwhelming evidence against him and there is such a great need for a scapegoat and for the CIA to make a recovery, and for the US president, that fictional president who is there at the White House at the time, to make a recovery [and] bring someone to justice."
Fans who are psyched about Brody's storyline will have to wait for later in the season for the character's return, co-creator Alex Gansa said that it "would be a betrayal" to inform fans when Brody would come back.
However, he did say that it will not happen in episode 1 or episode 2 of season 3. Fans will just have to wait and watch until the catch the first official glimpse of their favorite double agent.
