Trend alert: women are rocking Splashlights hair!

We know what you're thinking...what the heck is that? Well, it's the hottest hair color trend out now, according to Allure

But let's get to the specifics, right? Splashlights are a horizontal band of bleached hair that stretches from ear to ear. Colorist Aura Friedman debuted the highlighting technique on her Tumblr account, and it's just blown up. Everybody is rocking it and Aura loves it!

"I wanted to create the effect that a laser beam is hitting your hair at a certain spot," Aura said about the trend.

We must say that we love it and we gotta have it! To get the look, a trained stylist paints bleach onto a small horizontal section of hair, starting with the undermost layers. Then all the hair above and below the stripe is painted with a color close to your natural shade.

What you end up with is so hot, so fierce that you might just set the sidewalk on fire. And trust, Aura knows how to dream up daring, delicious hair looks.

Friedman is known to start some super-cool hair trends at New York Fashion Weeks, including pastel-streaked hair and the ever-popular ombre. This latest trend is just one more to add to your hairtastic repertoire and pull out whenever you want to dazzle and feel divacious.

Oh, we can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve for this year's Fashion Week in just a few days!
