Most stars have admitted that filming love scenes are awkward and it seems like things are no different for "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson.

The actor was spotted kissing co-star Mia Wasikowska while shooting what seemed to be a passionate scene for their upcoming movie "Maps to the Stars."

According to the Daily Mail, Pattinson plays a character named Jerome who is a limousine driver and aspiring actor who befriends pyromaniac Agatha, portrayed by Wasikowska.

The "Cosmopolis" star has shot numerous kissing and love scenes with ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart as they filmed the movies of the "Twilight Saga" franchise. With Mia Wasikowska, the actor had nothing but smiles and giggles as he was filmed getting intimate with Jesse Eisenberg's girlfriend.

In an interview last year Robert Pattinson explained just how awkward an intimate scene can be. He said, "It's always awkward, in a way, doing it with anybody.

"But at the same time... it really depends on how it's staged and stuff. It's like doing Twister."

While on set the actor wore black pants with a black shirt paired with a white button down while the actress wore black jeans and a long sleeve sweater.

"Maps to the Stars" also stars Julianne Moore, John Cusack, Carrie Fisher and Sarah Gadon. The film is set for a 2014 release.
