Rihanna debuted a new haircut on Instagram recently. A$AP Rocky's rumored girlfriend and River Island designer showed off another hairdo just before her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, 24, took to Twittter to possibly disrespect her.

According to Hollywood Life, the "Stay" singer, 25, is now rocking a retro mullet mohawk that she showed off in New York City this week.

The singer had just changed her light locks to grey before chopping it off for a short, curly style. Now, her new edgy haircut matches the street-chic look of her River Island clothing line, reported HL.

Rihanna is always sharing and talking about her life changes on social media, but she is not the only one doing that.

Her ex, Brown tweeted some choice words about love on Tuesday, and could have been calling out the "Diamonds" singer, reported HL.

The "Love More" singer advises his followers to love someone out of the goodness of your heart, and not because you expect something in return.

But HL reported that Brown's tweet could suggest that Rihanna only was nice to him in exchange for something and could have used him at times.

It's unclear whether Brown was actually disrespecting Rihanna. But regardless of what happened during their relationship, the exes have a history of Twitter spats.

But recent reports showed the former twosome were gettting along and had moved on from their drama.
