Rihanna's latest controversy has the 'Stay' singer and Diamonds World Tour performer battling a lawsuit over her late grandmother's funeral. A company sued the Chanel lover over what they claim are unpaid burial fees, which the singer's rep denied and called false.

According to TMZ report, Rihanna's late grandmother, Clara Braithwaite was buried in Barbados last June. The singer had ordered tents, multi-media large screens and huge exotic floral arrangements totaling more than $150,000 for the homegoing service.

The company claims that the Bajan beauty only paid about a quarter of the large fee, reported the celebrity news site.

Rihanna thought the fees was too exorbitant and refused to pay the rest of it. And the company is seeking the balance after the singer's extravagant demands came with a hefty price tag, they said.

But the singer's rep said she paid in full, and the allegations of an "outstanding" balance are completely untrue.

According to the Huffington Post, Rihanna's grandmother nicknamed "Gran Gran Dolly" had suffered a long battle with cancer.

She succumbed to the disease and died at a New York hospital early last year. And Rihanna hosted memorials in Brooklyn and Barbados, according to several reports last year.

Rihanna got an outpouring of love from her fans and even her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, reported MTV.
