The latest information in the Rihanna and Chris Brown after-breakup saga puts the singers at odds, but not with each other this time.
The "Stay" singer was videotaped while hitting a fan with her microphone at one of her recent Diamonds World Tour concerts in Birmingham, UK, according to the Huffington Post.
After having a near sideboob slip and spending quality time with her brother, she was forced to defend herself against a concertgoer, who grabbed her while performing. Her natural instinct was to whack the person with her mic.
In the clip below, you can hear someone shout, "What the f**k" and "oh my god," making this quite a crazy incident.
Many other female stars had faced similar circumstances when fans get too close for comfort. Recently, Beyonce verbally reprimanded a fan after the person slapped her butt on her Mrs. Carter tour.
And the late Amy Winehouse had punched a fan in Glastonbury in 2008, reported Hufffington.
While RiRi is fighting fans, Brown is fighting the police for a Los Angeles city citation for spraying graffiti on his Hollywood Hills, Calif. home.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the blonde crooner is making a stink and citing the 1st amendment to protect the scary monsters painted on his property. He believes the work should stay because its his "personal art" and expression.
His attorney, Mark Geragos filed an appeal with the city after neigbors complained about the 8-feet-tall drawings of creatures with "fangs and bulging eyes." Geragos said that Brown's creativity was art, not signage.
"...The murals painted on the exterior of the structure are for the sole purpose of enhancing the architectural and aesthetic features of the residential property," Geragos explained.
Brown tweeted this comment, which could speak to the situation.
Love u, even when u don't love me. Negativity is the easy way out. Judgement is not ours to give.
