Lindsey Vonn struck a pose and opened up about her relationship with Tiger Woods in Vogue's August issue.
The Olympic skier, who severely wounded her knee and leg after falling down the Super-G course in February's Alpine Skiing World Championships, has moved on from her injury, reported Vogue.
With Woods on her team, she has "finally found balance in a life spent on the move." And somewhere along the way, Vonn found a best friend in designer Cynthia Rowley.
"She's real and she's cool," Rowley said to Vogue writer, Jonathan Van Meter. "She's the most down-to-earth girl. And she's been through a lot. But at a certain point in your life you realize what your priorities should be, and I think she has gotten there."
With such support, the blonde athlete is sharing her life's story including one particularly difficult battle with depression, which grew worse in the final months of her marriage to ex-husband, Thomas Vonn. When asked if she would give another shot to wedded bliss, Vonn said "No Thanks! I'm definitely not getting married. To anyone."
She may not be walking down the aisle again, but the competitor is content with being Woods' girlfriend. She told the magazine, "Tiger's fame is obviously in the extreme, that amount of scrutiny that he is constantly under."
She continued to say, "But that's the thing: it all comes back to being happy. It doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks; do what you love to do and be happy and that's it."
The twosome, who came out as a couple on Facebook in March after Woods' cheating scandal, have a lot in common, Vogue reported. They both were pushed into sports by "domineering fathers," had difficult divorces and live their adult lives in a bubble under the media's spotlight. The big question now is how long will it last?
