After recent news that a judge revoked Chris Brown's probation for his alleged hit-and-run accident in May, Rihanna hopes that her ex-beau overcomes his legal issues and skips jail time, according to Hollywood Life.
The "Stay" singer, 25, is hundreds of miles away on the Diamonds World Tour, but still keeping up with 24-year-old Brown's troubles. Despite their difficult past, the Bajan beauty reportedly wishes Brown well.
"She doesn't want anything bad happening to him or him going to jail over her," a source said to HL. "She already forgave him and made her peace with him and that whole situation."
The source also added that Brown's situation is "out of [Rihanna's] hands, and there is nothing she can do but wish him the best."
It was reported that the "Don't Think They Know" singer has refused to eat since the judge's threat of jail time. The crooner, who many news outlets said was facing four years in prison for assaulting Rihanna in 2009, violated his probation but could now walk free, reported HL.
Brown's case will most likely be dismissed next week, with his probation reinstated on the same terms, the celebrity news site said.
"...The lawyer for the driver in the hit and run case clearly specified that his client did not want to press charges, that any damage was "negligible," read a statement from Brown's team sent to HL. "that Chris did indentify himself at the scene, and that she was given all the appropriate insurance information...We expect this matter to be resolved and his probation to be reinstated on the same terms and conditions."
